The local associations are the strength and backbone of ISMTA. Eighteen area groups and four collegiate chapters are located about the state and serve as a strong networking organization for interested teachers.
Monthly meetings are held featuring an expert speaker and members have the opportunity to become involved in committee functions and programs tailored to their needs.
